Description
The lightweight and slim RACPRO1-RD40 is a highly reliable n+1 DIN rail redundancy diode module with extremely compact dimensions of 135 x 140.4 mm and a width of just 43 mm. The wide DC input range from 9 V to 56 V enables the connection of power supply units with 12 V, 24 V or 48 V output voltage in n+1 redundancy mode with up to 20 A or up to 40 A output in sharing or parallel mode. With highly efficient MOSFET technology, the module is specially designed for demanding applications in the harsh environment of industrial automation with a voltage drop of just 140 mV. These devices deliver up to 40 A over the entire ambient temperature range from -40 °C to +70 °C with convection cooling only and a maximum power dissipation of typically 5 W. The unique and innovative modern design with 25° connectors allows for easy, tool-free installation or replacement. The product is certified to global safety standards IEC/EN/UL/CSA 62368-1. The electromagnetic radiation and conducted emissions comply with the emission standard EN 61000-6-4 Class B for heavy industry and the immunity standard EN 61000-6-2.
