Description
Stannol Flux-Gel HX21 is a flux for soft soldering of metals that cannot be soldered with conventional fluxes for electronics production. Suitable soldering processes are piston and iron soldering, as well as hot gas (air or nitrogen) and reflow. The medium has a paste-like consistency and can be applied manually or with a compressed air dispenser. The thixotropic properties ensure problem-free application and prevent run-off from the dispenser needle. Stannol Flux-Gel HX21 is water-soluble. Incorrectly set flux deposits can be easily removed with water.

Flux residues must be removed with water after soldering. Flux residues are soluble in cold water. Elevated temperatures improve the cleaning result, and cleaning with a spray jet is also more effective, as this allows you to reach areas that would otherwise be in so-called shadow areas.
