Description

This high-strength threadlocker permanently secures screws, nuts and stud bolts against loosening due to impact and vibration and seals at the same time. It is suitable for all metals and passive materials and tolerates thin layers of anti-rust oils and low levels of contamination.
LOCTITE® 270 is a good choice for permanently securing joints that must not loosen. This high strength threadlocker provides maximum performance in locking and sealing bolts, nuts and studs to prevent loosening due to shock and vibration. The product can be used not only on metals, but also on passive materials such as stainless steel, aluminum and plated surfaces. It can cure through light coatings of anti-corrosion oils and cutting fluids without the need to clean surfaces prior to application. The parts are permanently secured and can only be dismantled by heating to 300 °C (572 °F).
