Description

LOCTITE 222 is a low-strength threadlocker that allows the adjustment of screws, including countersunk screws and set screws. Well suited for use on metals that could break during disassembly, e.g. aluminum or brass. The product is suitable for all metals, including passive materials such as stainless steel, aluminium and galvanized surfaces. It has proven tolerance to low levels of contamination from industrial oils, e.g. engine, anti-corrosion and cutting oils.

  • Ideal as a low-strength threadlocker for adjusting screws, countersunk screws and set screws
  • Prevents screws from loosening due to vibration, e.g. in pumps, gearboxes or presses
  • Ideal for small thread sizes up to 6.35 mm (1/4″)
  • Can be dismantled with normal hand tools for easy maintenance and repair
