Description
Stannol Flux-Gel HX21 is a flux for soft soldering metals that cannot be soldered with standard fluxes used in electronics manufacturing. Suitable soldering methods include soldering with a soldering iron and a soldering gun, as well as hot gas (air or nitrogen) and reflow. The product has a paste-like consistency and can be applied manually or using a compressed air dispenser. Its thixotropic properties ensure easy application and prevent the flux from running out of the dispenser needle. Stannol Flux-Gel HX21 is water-soluble. Flux residues must be removed with water after soldering. Flux residues are soluble in cold water. Elevated temperatures improve the cleaning result, and cleaning with a spray jet is also more effective, as this allows you to reach areas that would otherwise be in so-called shadow areas.
