Description
The DGM02 device enables real-time protocol conversions and data acquisition between different sources. It can capture data from the Ethernet network as well as from one or more receive buses and convert this data in real time to the Ethernet network and the bus systems configured as transmit buses.
The 512 channels of the buffer are transmitted in full via the DMX512A bus. On the DALI bus, the first 64 channels of the buffer are transmitted as 64 short addresses, the first 16 channels as 16 group addresses or 1 channel as a broadcast to the nodes that change the value.
In addition, special Telnet commands can be used to control DALI DT4 / DT6 / DT8-RGBW / DT8-TW devices.
The first 480 channels of the buffer are transmitted via the MODBUS RTU bus to up to 80 Modbus devices (ID 1..80), with each device using 6 registers.
With this device and any control device that has an Ethernet connection, a total of 512 brightness levels can be controlled and various devices (DMX512A, DALI, MODBUS) can be controlled without detailed knowledge of the respective protocols.
