MEAN WELL is expanding its proven SCW/SCWN and DCW/DCWN series of DC/DC converters with a new generation featuring an 8:1 input range. The compact 3–20 W modules in DIP24 packages are available with single or dual outputs and are suitable for applications including industrial automation, measurement and test equipment, telecommunications, and IoT applications.
The 8:1 input range thus not only simplifies product selection but also reduces the number of items that need to be stocked and offers developers significantly greater flexibility in system design.
To facilitate an easy transition from previous models, the new generation continues to use the industry-standard DIP24 package, which offers pin-to-pin compatibility with the existing series. This allows for direct replacement in many applications without having to modify the PCB design.
