Description
ER2074 is a two-component, flame-retardant epoxy casting resin that meets the requirements of UL94-V0. The flame retardancy is achieved by a technology that completely dispenses with halogens and produces only minimal smoke in the event of fire. The fillers contained are hardly abrasive and therefore the abrasion for mixing and dosing systems is minimal. The casting compound is thermally conductive with a specific thermal conductivity of 1.26 W/m*K. ER2074 shows good chemical and water resistance.
After curing, ER2074 has an aesthetically pleasing white surface. Its high thermal conductivity makes it an effective material, e.g. for heat dissipation in LED applications, for both indoor and outdoor applications.
