Description
The Metcal MX-5270 ESD-safe digital solder wire feed system provides greater control and convenience, increasing the speed of the soldering process and the efficiency of the system. Thanks to its digital control and high performance, this system can manage multiple solder wire diameters and offers repeatability and functionality for your soldering process. The MX-5270 can be combined with Metcal's MX-5200 and MX-500 series soldering and rework systems.
Technical data
- Digital controls with multiple operating modes: feed, retract, deceleration and speed are programmable parameters either in automatic forward or forward or reverse mode.
- Large LCD display: Displays program parameters and a cycle counter with selectable unit of measure, millimeters or inches.
- Internal program memory: Stores thirty (30) programs internally, allowing the operator to select the right program for the right application
- Password protection: Prevents unintentional changes to saved programs
- Multiple solder diameters: Compatible with solder joints
- Diameters from 0.3 mm to 1.27 mm
- Solder feed blades: Reduces the tendency for solder balls to form at the point of use
- Solder coil lock: Secures the solder coil on the device
- Universal power supply: Automatically detects input voltage and adjusts accordingly, allowing worldwide operation without adapters or a change in power
