Description
Bostik Born2Bond™ GA-WL Instant is an orange anaerobic adhesive for instant surface sealing of rigid metal flanges during installation and for preventive maintenance. It has a medium strength and high viscosity. It is specially developed for an improved working environment and is not CLP classified.
It achieves 100 percent contact between two surfaces and creates a permanent bond that is resistant to vibrations, extreme temperatures, oils, solvents and water after curing.
- It is suitable for active and passive metals (rigid flanges made of iron, steel and aluminum)
Suitable applications
- Applications with operating temperatures up to 150 °C and gaps up to 0.25 mm
- Replacing conventional preformed gaskets on metal flanges
- Motors and drive trains
- Pumps and compressors
- Storage of liquid and gas
- Gearbox
- Can only be applied manually from a bottle, with or without a dosing tip
- For best results, clean all surfaces with Bostik Born2Bond™ Pre-Bonding Cleaner before bonding and allow to evaporate completely
- Use the Bostik Born2Bond™ anaerobic activator for accelerated curing
- Remove hardened adhesive with Bostik Born2Bond™ Gasket&Adhesive Remover and a soft scraper
