Description
- The heptane-based Bostik Born2Bond™ primer is clear, has a very low viscosity and is suitable for bonding cyanoacrylate adhesives, especially on substrates with low surface energy. It can also be used as a supplement to surface treatment.
It is only suitable for substrates that are difficult to bond and have a low surface energy (< 38 mN/m):
- Polyethylene (PE)
- Polypropylene (PP)
- Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)
- Thermoplastic rubber materials
Suitable applications
- Surface pre-treatment
- Bonding of substrates with low surface energy
Attention: Not recommended for assemblies that require high peeling force!
Advantages
- Very low viscosity
- Accelerator for adhesive applications with cyanoacrylate
- Increases the adhesive strength on substrates that are difficult to bond
- Dry in seconds
- Adhesive can be applied within 2 hours without loss of performance
