Description
The ultra-compact, versatile RACM40-K and RACM40-K/OF series AC/DC converters for industrial, residential and medical applications deliver 40 watts of output power at temperatures from -40°C to +65°C with natural air convection and up to +85°C with derating or forced air cooling. With a clear focus on extended thermal performance for space-constrained systems, these encapsulated 1.8 "x3.2" modules are designed to achieve the highest overall efficiencies across the entire output load range of universal AC inputs. The RACM40-K and RACM40-K/OF are certified to ANSI/AAMI/IEC 60601-1 for medical safety and EN 60601-1-2 for medical EMC and offer 4kVac/1 min isolation, 2MOPP and meet B and BF requirements. It is additionally certified to IEC/EN 62368-1 (CB report) and IEC61558-1/-2-16 for industrial applications and IEC/EN 60335-1 for household appliances. The robust built-in class B EMC filter offers sufficient scope to enable class II or I PELV installations with earthed output.
The mechanically robust design of the fully encapsulated RACM40-K module with 1.6 mm pins and additional threaded inserts gives the series increased stability against shocks and vibrations.
