New SHP-30K series from MEAN WELL – Powerful 30kW power supplies for your demanding projects

With an output power of up to 30 kW, the power supply units in the SHP-30K series are capable of supplying even the most demanding electronic loads.

The industry leader in power supplies, MEAN WELL, has introduced the new SHP-30K series: A 2U rack high performance standard power supply, highly demanded and expected by customers worldwide. The SHP-30K series is the world's most powerful AC/DC power supply with 30kW. The power supply has a 3-phase 3-wire AC input and offers four standard models for DC output, including low voltage 55V (<60V SELV) and high voltage (HVDC) outputs at 115V/230V/380V. This series is particularly well suited for various renewable energy applications, including energy storage cabinets, energy storage walls, hydrogen energy, wind energy, solar energy, EV electric vehicle DC fast charging systems and other related applications. It is also ideal for powering industrial IT big data servers, data center uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, 5G base stations, various network system equipment, industrial electrolysis equipment, semiconductor production equipment, UV laser cutting and more.

As an extension of the previous SHP-10K series, the SHP-30K not only meets customer requirements by increasing the output. More than 300kW can be achieved when connected in parallel. In addition, the power supply units offer programmable output voltage and current control functions, integrated CAN bus communication protocol (optional PMBus or Modbus); it also offers comprehensive protection circuits and monitoring options. This enables simple integration into the overall system. The very high efficiency of up to 97% ensures efficient operation and reduced heat generation and reduces the energy consumption of the application. With international safety certifications and a standard 2U 19 inch chassis, the SHP-30K series is perfectly suited for high performance industrial applications.
