MEAN WELL has received positive feedback on the 1" x 1" 6W/15W/20W/30W DC/DC converter with wide input voltage range since its release. To meet the higher power requirements, Mean Well today officially launches the 40Watt single output series SKMW40 / dual output series DKMW40.

The main features of SKMW40 and DKMW40 series are: standardized pin layout and compact size, which provide a better power supply solution for terminal devices with limited volume, 4:1 (9..36Vdc/18..75Vdc), wide input voltage range, ultra-wide operating temperature range -40°..+80°C, 2kVdc input/output isolation, full protection features, internal silicone gel potting not only helps dissipate heat and prolongs life, but is also dust, moisture and vibration resistant. These features make these converters suitable for installation in control cabinets, telecommunications equipment, industrial automation, distributed power supply systems and transportation applications.
