We are pleased to introduce the new CmK module with high output voltage and one slot footprint. This new CoolMod provides an isolated 200Vdc output and can be used in the full range of CoolX intelligent, configurable power supplies: CoolX600, CoolX1000, CoolX1800 and CoolX3000. The new CmK module simplifies hardware design and safety compliance for systems requiring higher DC voltages.
Each CmK CoolMod can deliver up to 200Watt at 200Vdc and a total of 3 CmK modules can be connected in series to achieve 600Vdc. For applications requiring higher currents, 3 CmK modules can also be connected in parallel to deliver 200Vdc. This flexible module is adjustable between 175Vdc and 205Vdc and, as an extension of the configurable CoolX range, offers system designers greater flexibility with analog and digital (PMBus®) monitoring and control options.
The CoolX meets the stringent leakage and airflow requirements for medical applications and also offers 4kVac insulation, 2 MOPP protection and is fully certified to IEC60601-1 3rd Edition for medical applications and IEC62368-1 for industrial applications.
Typical medical applications include medical and laboratory devices such as clinical chemistry and analytical equipment, medical lasers, surgical robotics, imaging and life science devices, while typical industrial applications include test and measurement equipment, additive manufacturing and automation equipment.
