The new LRS-100N2 series from MEAN WELL delivers up to 200% of nominal power in the short term and thus covers applications with high starting currents.
The LRS-100N2 is housed in a perforated sheet metal casing and offers a continuous output of 100 watts. It can also provide a peak power of 200 watts for up to 5 seconds. This makes it possible to supply electromechanical components such as motors and valves as well as capacitive loads such as capacitors without the need for an oversized power supply unit for the required continuous load. This saves costs and space in the application.
The power supply unit is available in the common output voltages 12V / 24V / 36V and 48V. In addition to UL/EN62368-1 certification, the devices are also approved to EN61558-1/-2-16 in accordance with overvoltage category III.
