Description
HF34 solder wire is a halogen-free, organic acid-based flux that excellently combines high activity and good flow properties with minimal light-colored residues that are generally barely visible and solid. It is designed to meet the high demands of conventional soldering, as well as for soldering SMDs in industrial manufacturing and for repair and rework soldering.
Technical data
- little flux (low residue)
- Reduced amount of resin (no thermal degradation of the resin at the hot soldering iron tip, visually appealing appearance)
- High proportion of organic acids (good activity, suitable for SMT)
- Halogen-free (electrical safety)
- hardly any residues (volatilization at soldering temperature)
- Less vapors (less decomposition and evaporation of resins, reduced workplace pollution, less contamination in the vicinity of the solder joint)
Areas of application
HF34 solder wire can be used for manual and machine soldering in the field of electrical engineering and electronics. Only small amounts of wire flux are required to achieve a good soldering result. This means that only a very small amount of residue remains on the circuit board. Due to the special composition, it must be checked whether the residues can remain on the circuit board. The cleaning media Stannol Flux-Ex 200B or Stannol Flux-Ex 500 can be used for effective cleaning.
