Description
The system works with the proven SmartHeat® technology. Each soldering tip is equipped with a self-regulating heating element that detects its own temperature and keeps it constant at the preset value - over the entire service life of the tip. The temperature is determined by the metallurgical properties of the heating element; no external adjustment or additional device is required.
The MX-500 has a switchable dual port and offers 40 W SmartHeat® power. An integrated Net Power Meter displays both graphically and numerically the power transferred to the soldering tip.
Technical data
- Programmable power save mode: adjustable from 10 to 120 minutes
- Ground Fault Interrupt: monitors the ground connection, detects faults immediately, alarms and switches the system off automatically
- Universal power supply unit: automatically adapts to the input voltage and enables worldwide use without adapters or loss of power
- Compatibility: fully compatible with current and previous MX upgrade kits, soldering tips, handles and accessories
