Description
The MX-5210 is equipped with the Metcal Advanced™ soldering pen. This highly efficient soldering system is suitable for a wide range of soldering tasks: Lead-free technology, components or PCBs with a large mass, thermally sensitive components that require low soldering temperatures, series production as well as rework soldering.
Technical data
- Can be operated with two handpieces. These share the 80 watts of output power dynamically as required, resulting in greater application flexibility and speed.
- Microprocessor-controlled power supply that provides more power for challenges such as high mass components, multilayer PCBs and lead-free solder.
- Improved ergonomics with lightweight handpieces.
- Better process control with SmartHeat® technology.
- ESD-safe with a circuit for monitoring the incoming AC ground.
- Built-in power meter with digital display and bar graph that provides the operator with dynamic feedback on the status of the soldering process.
- Metcal TipSaver™ Workstand improves the service life of soldering tips with its "Auto-Sleep" function.
