Description
The MX-500 series works with the innovative SmartHeat® technology. Each cartridge is equipped with a self-regulating heating element that permanently monitors its own temperature and keeps it constant at the preset value - over the entire service life of the soldering tip. The temperature is determined by the metallurgical properties of the heating element, without the need for external adjustment or additional equipment.
The MX-500 has a switchable dual port and 40W SmartHeat® power.
The MX-500DS set includes the MX-DS1 desoldering handle and the MX-RM3E handle.
Technical data
- Integrated Net Power Meter with graphical and numerical display of the power applied to the cartridge
- Programmable power save mode: individually adjustable from 10 to 120 minutes
- Ground Fault Interrupt: detects faults in the earth connection and switches the system off immediately, while the user is alerted at the same time
- Universal power supply unit: automatic voltage adjustment enables worldwide use without adapters or loss of power
- Compatibility: fully compatible with existing and previous MX upgrade kits, tip cartridges, handles and accessories
