Description

Medium-strength, fast-curing thread sealant for securing and sealing metal pipes and fittings with fine threads that are normally fitted to hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Suitable for systems in which filters are installed

LOCTITE® 542 is an excellent choice when you need a fast curing sealant for fine threaded metal pipes and fittings. This medium-strength adhesive secures threaded metal connections against unintentional loosening due to vibration and seals against fuel, oil, coolant and hydraulic fluids. Thanks to its thixotropic properties, migration of the liquid product after application is reduced and contains no fillers or particles that could contaminate or clog fluid filtration systems.

Ideal for fine thread connections on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, generally for connecting pieces
