Description
LOCTITE 268 is a high-strength threadlocker for maximum security when securing and sealing screws, nuts, and stud bolts. The product reliably prevents loosening due to vibration and is specially designed for permanent screw connections that must not come loose during operation.
The stick form allows for clean, drip-free application and is ideal for overhead applications as well as use in production and maintenance. LOCTITE 268 is suitable for all metals, including passive materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and galvanized surfaces.
The product exhibits high tolerance to light contamination from industrial oils, corrosion protection oils, and cutting oils, thereby offering high process reliability in industrial environments. Disassembly is only possible by heating to approx. 300 °C.
