Description
The CVC and SMC soldering tips are the standard program for Metcal soldering systems of the CV-5200, CV-500, MX-500 and MX-5200 series.
Temperature ranges:
-
600 series: approx. 330 °C - for fine, temperature-critical applications
-
700 series: approx. 390 °C - standard for most soldering tasks
-
800 series: approx. 440 °C - for high heat requirements
-
900 series: approx. 470 °C - for very demanding soldering work
The serial number identifies the temperature (e.g. CVC-/SMC-7xx = 700 series).
Thanks to SmartHeat® technology, the power adjusts automatically - ideal for leaded and lead-free soldering.
