Description
The STDC desoldering tips are the standard program for Metcal MX-500 and MX-5200 desoldering stations.
Temperature ranges:
-
600 series: approx. 357 °C - for sensitive or light desoldering work
-
700 series: approx. 413 °C - standard for most applications
-
800 series: approx. 510 °C - for high temperatures and demanding desoldering tasks
The temperature is indicated by the first digit after the hyphen in the article number (e.g. STDC-7xx = 700 series).
With SmartHeat® technology, Metcal automatically adjusts the power and keeps the temperature constant – ideal for leaded and lead-free soldering .
