Description
The CVC and SMC soldering tips are the standard program for Metcal CV-5200, CV-500, MX-500 and MX-5200 soldering systems.
Temperature ranges:
-
600 series: approx. 330 °C - for low power or low temperature applications
-
700 series: approx. 390 °C - standard for most soldering tasks
-
800 series: approx. 440 °C - for high temperatures and thermally demanding applications
-
900 series : approx. 470 °C – for particularly demanding soldering work
The temperature is indicated by the first digit in the numerical part of the article number (e.g. CVC-/SMC-7xx = 700 series).
With SmartHeat® technology, Metcal automatically adjusts the power and keeps the temperature constant - suitable for leaded and lead-free soldering.
