Description
The PTTC tweezer tips are the standard range for Metcal MX-500, MX-5000 and MX-5200 soldering systems.
Temperature ranges:
-
600 series: approx. 330 °C - for fine or sensitive applications

700 series: approx. 390 °C - standard for most soldering work
-
800 series: approx. 450 °C - for high temperatures and demanding tasks
The temperature is indicated by the first digit after the hyphen in the article number (e.g. PTTC-7xx = 700 series).
