Description
The PTC tweezer tip cartridges are the standard range for Metcal CV-5200, CV-500, MX-500, MX-5000 and MX-5200 soldering systems.
Temperature ranges:
-
700 series : approx. 390 °C – standard for most applications
-
800 series : approx. 430 °C – for high heat requirements
-
900 series : approx. 470 °C – for particularly demanding soldering work
The temperature is indicated by the first digit after the hyphen in the article number (e.g. PTC-7xx = 700 series).
With SmartHeat® technology, Metcal automatically adjusts the power and keeps the temperature constant – ideal for leaded and lead-free soldering .
