Description
The STTC and SMTC soldering tips are the standard program for Metcal MX-500 and MX-5200 soldering systems.
Temperature ranges:
-
600 series: approx. 330 °C - for light or temperature-critical applications
-
700 series: approx. 390 °C - standard for most soldering tasks
-
800 series: approx. 450 °C - for high temperatures and demanding applications
The temperature is indicated by the first digit after the hyphen in the article number (e.g. STTC-/SMTC-7xxx = 700 series).
Thanks to SmartHeat® technology, Metcal automatically adjusts the power and ensures constant temperatures - suitable for leaded and lead-free soldering.
