Description
The R-78HE-5.0-0.3 is a cost-effective switching regulator module in a compact SIP3 housing that has been specially developed for battery-powered applications, but is also suitable for many other applications with high input voltages. The exceptionally wide input voltage and operating temperature range, high MTBF (15 million hours), precise regulation and low quiescent current consumption make this converter ideal for 36V/48V lithium-ion and 12V/24V/48V lead-acid battery applications. The ability to withstand 100V overvoltages means that external voltage clamping circuits are unnecessary and only a simple LC filter is required for class A and B EMC compliance.
