Description
Tpcm™ 5000 is a new high-performance TIM from the Laird product portfolio. Tpcm™ 5000 was developed to offer the best value for money on the market. Tpcm™ 5000 is characterized by very low thermal resistance, achieved through a high thermal conductivity of 5.3 W/mK, a minimal layer thickness, and excellent wetting of the contact surfaces. With a softening temperature between 50 °C and 70 °C, the original pad thickness can be reduced to an adhesive joint of just 25 µm.
The reliability of Tpcm™ 5000 has been demonstrated through 1,000 hours of various aging tests, resulting in proven reliability at an operating temperature of 125 °C.
Compared to thermally conductive greases and other phase-change materials, the special polymer matrix offers excellent resistance to pumping out. Tpcm™ 5000 has been formulated to provide just the right amount of adhesion: It adheres to the liner but can be easily removed for application.
