Description
The RCD-24-xxx/PL/B series is a step-down constant-current power supply designed for driving high-power LEDs.
The converter uses a pinless SMD open-frame design to reduce cost and size. Available output currents are 300 mA, 350 mA, 500 mA, 600 mA, and 700 mA with integrated Class B EMC filtering (suffix /B). Despite its compact size, the RCD-PL series is fully featured and offers very high efficiency, a wide input voltage range, high ambient temperature tolerance, and two methods for LED dimming: PWM/digital control and analog voltage dimming. Both dimming controls are independent of each other and can be combined. The driver is also designed to be just as reliable as the LEDs it drives, even at maximum ambient temperatures, and is suitable for light strips, wall washers, and applications as a replacement for fluorescent tubes where a flat profile and narrow width are required.
