The Schweiger Group can look back on over 30 years of company history. Today, with more than 200 employees, the company is an established partner to mechanical engineering and industry.
As the founder in 1982, Albert Schweiger limited himself to the sale of spare parts for electrical automation. With the focus on mechanical and plant engineering and the consistent expansion of the service portfolio, a development began that was also repeatedly noted by the media. Even today, component distribution remains an important pillar of the company.
As an outsourcing partner, Schweiger has been manufacturing complex electrical, mechanical and mechatronic system assemblies, providing engineering services and offering personnel support from machine installation to system assembly and commissioning since 2005.
In 1997, the company moved into its new headquarters in Sauerlach, south of Munich. In 2006 and 2012, Schweiger Produktion GmbH moved to a completely new company building in Weil im Schönbuch, south of Stuttgart.
