MechaTronix was founded in 2007 and is made up of five already successful manufacturing companies, each of which has been in continuous operation for more than a decade. MechaTronix offers a wide variety of mechanical and electromechanical parts and assemblies for the international OEM market.
MechaTronix began with the manufacture of metal and plastic housings for electronic applications and the assembly of semi-finished products and complex cables, using several production processes including die casting, forging, extrusion and plastic injection molding.
The use of secondary processes such as CNC grinding and cutting and finishes such as anodizing, painting and screen printing allow us to offer our customers a very high degree of customization and personalization. Through its expertise in these processes, MechaTronix has become a serious contender in the market for heat sinks and cooling motors. What started as a one-off foray into the extrusion of aluminum heat sinks has resulted in a very comprehensive package of cooling solutions for the booming international LED market.
In 2016, knowledge took an additional leap with the acquisition of Cooling House, based in Taipei Wugu.
This high-end design and development center specializes in advanced thermal management that goes far beyond LED cooling - heat exchangers for data centers, renewable energy and high power conversions are their playing field.
This expansion also opened up new possibilities in LED cooling with technologies such as heat pipes and loop thermosyphons.
As a result, MechaTronix began its second core mission in 2017 - the design, development and manufacture of LED grow lights for use in a variety of horticultural applications.
With the increasing demand for PPFD values that growers want to apply to their crops, the thermal management of LED grow lights is the absolute key to the lifetime of high power LED applications, similar to the development of SON-T HPS grow lights.
With this in mind, we have started to develop complete LED grow light concepts that are outstanding in terms of lifetime, PPF values of a single luminaire, light distribution and canopy penetration.
With the first horti LED Top Lights launched in early 2018, MechaTronix has established a dedicated team working on LED grow light solutions for the future.
