The NTS-1700 and NTU-1700 extend MEAN WELL 's latest generation of DC/AC inverters into the upper power range with a 1700W solution. This new inverter generation is state-of-the-art and offers outstanding performance, a wide input range for lithium or lead-acid batteries, ease of use, very high efficiency, and low standby consumption. To protect the inverters from dirt, dust, and moisture, all devices in the NTS/NTU series are coated with a protective coating. The NTU series is also equipped with an AC bypass function, allowing it to be used with a charger to create a UPS.
The NTS/NTU series are industry-standard appliances. They differ from consumer devices in their high reliability, high safety, top quality and environmentally friendly operation with high efficiency and low no-load consumption. The inverters can deliver up to 3400 watts peak load in the short term. Flexible output and operating mode settings, remote ON/OFF, multiple intelligent protection circuits, operation from -25° to +70°C and international certificates are among the highlights of this series.
The inverters are used in cars, motor homes, on ships, as mobile AC power supplies, in UPS applications and can be used to supply power to TVs, computers, for charging cell phones, audio, lighting, electric fans, mobile medical carts, mobile light towers.
