The demands on bolted connections are increasing, and this also applies increasingly to connections with low preload forces, as bolts always tend to be overtightened. This can lead to major damage. It therefore makes sense to tighten bolts to a defined torque.

In addition to conventional screwdriving tools, BERNSTEIN also offers ESD screwdriver solutions for all common screwdriver heads. Especially for electrotechnical applications, such as working on protected devices, sensitive circuits and connections.

The SPANNFIX product series ranges from classic screw heads and special attachments for the electronics industry to variable and versatile base parts. All SPANNFIX products have a high-quality precision ball joint with a steel ball, which can be moved in all directions and fixed in any position.

ESD-sensitive components can be protected by storing, handling and packaging them exclusively in an ESD-protected environment. Precautions are taken there to avoid electrostatic charges. Potential differences are neutralized by slow discharge. A sudden discharge can thus be prevented. This is the real danger. The very short and rapid discharge results in a very high discharge current.
