The beginnings of Electrolube can be traced back to 1941, when Henry Kingsbury founded the company Kingsbury Controls.

Here he produced a special oil that improved the electrical performance and service life of the contact surfaces and reduced friction. This was the catalyst for a whole range of contact lubricants which are known as the foundation of the Electrolube company. As global specialists in all areas of formulated chemical products, Electrolube offers a wide range of products that are an essential part of the manufacture and maintenance of electrical and electronic parts. The products are used in areas such as industrial electronics, transportation, telecommunications, medical, lighting, automotive and aerospace.

With a strong focus on research and collaboration, Electrolube is constantly developing new and environmentally friendly solutions for existing and new customers.

  • EAD - Non-flammable Electrolube compressed gas cleaner
Electrolubes EAD is a compressed gas cleaner for the safe removal of dust and deposits in sensitive or inaccessible areas of electrical equipment that cannot be dismantled for cleaning. Although EAD is not flammable, we recommend that appliances are always switched off before cleaning. EAD can be used with a tilt angle of the spray can of up to 60°....
  • AFA: the new protective coating for LEDs from Electrolube
AFA is an optically clear protective coating, ideally suited as a protective coating for LEDs or in other industrial applications. AFA retains its optical clarity even under the influence of UV radiation and causes only a minimal increase in the color temperature of the coated LEDs. In addition, AFA offers excellent protection in humid environments and is stable over a wide operating temperature range.

PRODUCT GROUPS

Cleaning agent

Electrolube product groups Cleaning agents4

Cleaning is an essential process in the production of electronic components and has been used for many years to remove potentially hazardous contaminants during PCB production.

Such contaminants include flux, solder paste and adhesive residues as well as other general contaminants such as dust and deposits caused by other production processes.

Protective coatings

Electrolube product groups Protective coatings

Electrolube is one of the world's leading experts in the development, manufacture and application of protective coatings designed to meet international approvals (including European and American military specifications). The range of products currently available includes acrylics, silicones, polyurethanes, hybrid compositions and environmentally friendly options.

Maintenance and repair aids

Electrolube product groups Repair aids3

Electrolube produces a wide range of maintenance products to complement its main product groups. Whether for use by OEMs or subcontractors, these products are supplied in convenient packaging and cover a wide range of applications and requirements.

Potting compounds

Electrolube product groups Potting compound

Potting compounds, or casting resins, protect and insulate printed circuit boards and electronic components from the hazards of harsh and challenging environments. These conditions include: Moisture, vibration, thermal or physical shock and contamination. By encapsulating individual components or potting the entire device, casting resins can form a complete barrier against such environmental conditions, ensuring they function excellently in these extreme conditions.

Dissipation thermique

Electrolube product groups Thermally conductive products2

During operation, some electronic components can generate considerable amounts of heat. If this heat is not dissipated effectively, it can lead to reduced reliability and shortened component/assembly life. Electrolube's extensive range of thermal interface materials for a variety of thermal solutions have been developed to reduce the operating temperature of a wide range of electronic components and assemblies. For each thermal application, we recommend testing under the specific conditions before making a selection, as the requirements and operating conditions are different for each application.

Contact lubricant

Electrolube product groups Contact lubricants

Electrolube has been the market leader in contact lubricants since they were invented by the company's founder in the 1950s. Contact lubricants increase the reliability and service life of current-carrying metal interfaces, including switches, connectors and busbars.
