New in the product range of Simpex Electronic AG are the power supplies DRS-240 and DRS-480 from the manufacturer MEAN WELL With integrated charging and UPS functions, an uninterruptible power supply can be set up quickly and efficiently on the DIN rail.
The DIN rail power supply units are ideal for use in control cabinets. The extended input voltage range of 90 to 305Vac, the high efficiency of up to 93.5% and the operating temperature range of -30°C to +70°C ensure reliable operation.
One output (CH1) provides the direct power supply to the consumer and the second output (CH2) is used to connect and charge the lead or LiFePO4 batteries.
The MODBus interface (CANBus optional) can be used to set the charging parameters of the charging curves, 2- or 3-stage charging. Various monitoring and control functions can also be communicated to the system via the digital MODBus interface. In addition to switching on and off, values such as output current and output voltage can also be controlled and read out, and error messages and temperatures can be monitored.
The AC fail, battery low, charger fail and DC-OK statuses can also be monitored remotely via relay outputs.
The DRS family is tested in accordance with EN62368-1 and UL62368-1 and complies with the specifications for use in fire alarm systems in accordance with the EN 54-4, UL 2524 and GB 17945 standards.
These power supply units are ideal for use in security and fire protection systems, emergency lighting, alarm systems, central monitoring systems and access control systems.
