Fluorescent lamp replacement: From August 25, 2023, the sale and use of linear fluorescent lamps of types T5 and T8 will be banned. Compact fluorescent lamps and circular (Circline) T5 fluorescent lamps have already been withdrawn from circulation since February 25. These lamps may no longer be used as they consume too much energy and have a harmful effect on the environment due to their toxic mercury. This regulation complies with the EU regulation and the RoHS directive (Restriction of Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic Equipment).

Our popular LED modules in all possible shapes, such as round or square, are available as LED inserts with power supply units for quickly converting existing conventional lamps to LED lighting. These conversion kits are assembled in Switzerland and can be configured according to your requirements. The round LED modules with diameters of 50-930mm can be equipped with DALI, Casambi etc. capable power supply units depending on the control requirements. Fluorescent lamp replacement with LED modules

Replace your existing ring-shaped T5 lamps (Circline) with our SIMRING LED modules. SI230-185-C128 is the replacement for 22W Circline, SI305-260-C160 is the replacement for 40 and 55W Circline and SI379-334-C224 is the replacement for 60W Circline. These ring-shaped LED modules can be fitted with magnets to ensure quick and easy installation. Our other LED modules can also be fitted with mounting kits.

T8 LED tubes - for quick and uncomplicated 1:1 replacement

Replace the conventional T8 fluorescent lamps directly 1:1 with our very efficient, up to 204lm/W, T8 LED fluorescent lamp replacement from Lumesi. The nominal voltage is 230VAC and are suitable for operation with CCG/ACG. No changes need to be made to the luminaire when operating with a CCG/VCG, only the starter needs to be replaced. A replacement starter is included in the scope of delivery. The G13 socket with rotating end caps can be adjusted to 0°/22.5°/45°/67.5° and 90° for optimum alignment depending on requirements.

Our T8 LED tubes are KEMA-KEUR certified and tested by DEKRA. The high efficiency is achieved thanks to the Samsung LEDs, which are LM80 tested. The T8 tubes are available as 1.2m(STUB12-840-UK-16W) or 1.5m(STUB15-840-UK-20W) or 16W or 20W tubes. The LED tubes are also available as a DC version(STUB12-840-UK-DC). All T8 LED tubes have a Color BIN from MacAdam 3 and come with a 5-year guarantee.

T5 / T8 retrofit LED replacement and LED boards

Lumesi offers LED replacement luminaires for T5 and T8 in various lengths, equipped with magnets for quick and easy installation. The slim profiles are made of anodized aluminium and have an opal diffuser. A 50 cm connection cable for the power supply is already attached. These luminaires are designed for operation with constant current.

If you would like to build your own T5 or T8 replacement lights, we have the corresponding linear LED circuit boards. With a width of just 10mm, these fit into the most common profiles.

These constant-current LED modules, produced in Europe, impress with their extremely high efficiency. They are available in the color temperatures 3000K and 4000K with a color rendering of Ra >80 or >90 available. Other color temperatures are available on request.

For T5 replacement luminaires, we offer modules with a length of 1130mm and a supplementary module with 296mm for extension to 1426mm. For T8 replacement luminaires, we have an 1184mm module for 1.2m T8 luminaires, which is modular and can be extended to 1480mm for 1.5m T8 luminaires with the 296mm module. The linear LED modules are equipped with a double-sided adhesive tape from 3M for quick installation in profiles.

We have also developed a constant current LED strips, the SF24.8-C9, for the production of T5 or T8 replacement luminaires. It impresses with its very high efficiency, narrow LED pitch and separability of 59mm.
